Since its founding in 1997, The Moth has become a cultural cornerstone, hosting hundreds of events, workshops, and performances across the United States. Their mission is to amplify voices from all walks of life, honoring both the diversity and commonality of the human experience. The Mainstage events are a special blend of storytelling and community, featuring curated stories crafted with the help of The Moth’s directors.

The event at Green-Wood Cemetery was nothing short of magical. With an audience of over 800, the evening was filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, and a palpable sense of connection. Our role was to create an audio-visual experience that enhanced the storytelling without overshadowing it, and the historic venue provided a stunning backdrop for this intimate event.

We tailored a sound system to ensure podcast-quality audio that reached every attendee, allowing each storyteller’s voice to shine. For lighting, we worked carefully to highlight the unique beauty of the cemetery while maintaining the focus on the stage. Lighting up a cemetery was a first for us, and while it may sound spooky, the result was an enchanting atmosphere that perfectly suited the evening’s tone.

This event reminded us why we love what we do. The Moth’s commitment to authentic, heartfelt storytelling aligns with our own passion for creating memorable event experiences. Partnering with them to transform Green-Wood Cemetery into a space of connection and inspiration was truly an honor.

We’re grateful to The Moth for entrusting us with such a meaningful project, and we can’t wait to see what stories they bring to life next!

ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder

One of our favorite recent events was partnering with the non-profit storytelling organization, The Moth, to bring their Mainstage event to life in the historic Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY.
