Commencement & graduation FAQs
What AV do we need for a commencement?
Usually a sound system that covers the whole venue, microphones for speakers and name readers, screens with live cameras for big crowds, and a livestream for families at home. We'll recommend the right setup for your venue and crowd size.
Can you produce outdoor commencements?
Yes. We plan speaker placement so the whole field or quad can hear, run power safely, and work out a weather backup plan with you in advance.
Can you livestream our graduation?
Yes. We provide a stable, multi-camera livestream so relatives can watch from anywhere, plus a recording graduates and families can keep.
How do you make sure every name is heard clearly?
We give name readers dedicated, reliable microphones, test them in the real venue before the ceremony, and have backups ready on stage.
What happens if it rains?
We work out a rain plan before the day, whether that means protecting the gear outdoors or moving to an indoor venue, so a forecast change doesn't become a crisis.
How far ahead should we book?
Commencement season is short and busy, with many ceremonies in May and June. Book early, ideally several months ahead, to lock in your date.
