X Creator Connect NYC
An immersive night for creators at The Expo Space at Starrett-Lehigh as X introduced Grok Bot, built around a 16 ft LED wall, a custom LED tube photo moment, and moody overhead lighting.
What a week for SpaceX and X. Between flying cars and new AI bots, the future showed up, and we got to play a small part in it.
The brief
Our client asked for a space that felt exciting, immersive, and unmistakably on brand. Creators were coming to see what was next for X and Grok Bot, and the room had to feel like the future before anyone said a word.
The challenge
The signature piece was a photo moment made entirely of light, and there was no off-the-shelf version to rent. Twenty Astera Titan Tubes had to hang in perfect lines from overhead truss, at exact heights and spacing, and stay rock steady while a room full of creators posed in front of them.
Our solution
We designed the photo moment from scratch, drew every tube into the rig plan, and built a custom way to rig it to the venue's overhead suspension points. Then we tied the room together with a 16 ft LED wall on stage and overhead moving lights that kept the space dark, moody, and focused on the moments that mattered.

From drawing to done.
Every great room starts on paper. We rendered the space in 3D so our client could see the stage, the LED wall, and the seating before load-in, then drew the Titan Tube rig down to each suspension point. Drag the slider to compare the rendering with the real thing.

A 16 ft LED wall to set the stage
A bright, seamless LED wall carried the X and Grok Bot branding, live demos, and every speaker moment, sharp enough to read from the back row and on camera.
A custom LED tube photo moment
Twenty Astera Titan Tubes suspended from overhead truss, programmed and rigged to our own design, gave creators a photo wall made of light that was unmistakably on brand.
Overhead moving lights
Moving lights kept the room dark and moody, then cut through it to spotlight speakers, products, and key moments throughout the space.
