Event production in Washington, DC
A DC production partner that speaks association
Washington, DC is home to more association headquarters than almost anywhere in the country, which means annual meetings, policy summits, and award galas all year long. One Way Event Productions produces those events with clear audio, broadcast-quality cameras, LED walls, and lighting, plus a team that knows a general session runs on a tight clock.
Our team is about four hours away by road, so our gear and crew come straight from New York, with vetted local partners when the show gets bigger. A dedicated team plans your event together from the first call to the final strike.

Know before you go
What to know about producing an event in Washington, DC
A few local details that can make or break a show, and how we handle them.
Security adds time
Events with government officials or VIP speakers often add security sweeps and credentialing. We build that into the load-in schedule from the start.
Programs change late
Associations book space years out, but speakers and sessions shift until the last minute. We stay flexible and keep the run of show current.
Know the venue rules
The convention center and big hotels have their own labor rules and exclusive services. We read the show manual early and coordinate with the general contractor.
Spring is peak season
Spring brings cherry blossoms, school groups, and a packed meeting calendar. Book crew, gear, and hotel blocks early.
