Event production in Boston
A Boston production partner close enough to drive
Boston is one of the busiest meeting cities in the Northeast, with medical, biotech, tech, and higher-ed conferences filling the Seaport and Back Bay all year. One Way Event Productions brings New York-level production to those events: clear audio, sharp LED and projection, lighting that looks great on camera, and a crew that shows up ready.
Because Boston is a drive away, our own team and gear can roll in from New York, and we add vetted local crew when the show calls for it. A dedicated team plans your event together from the first call to the final strike, and nobody pays to fly a crew in.

Know before you go
What to know about producing an event in Boston
A few local details that can make or break a show, and how we handle them.
The Hynes is renovating
The state is in the middle of a multi-year upgrade of the Hynes while it stays open. We ask about any work near your space before we lock your floor plan.
Plan around union labor
Boston's convention centers and many hotels use union crews. We confirm jurisdiction early and staff our team to match, so show day has no surprises.
Docks and load-in windows are tight
Downtown and Seaport hotels often have small loading docks and strict time slots. We schedule our trucks around them and plan overnight load-ins when needed.
Spring and fall fill up fast
Boston's busiest convention seasons are spring and fall, when medical and university events stack up. Lock in crew, gear, and hotel rooms early.
How we work

- Backup built in, never a single point of failure

"I had the pleasure of working with Miguel, Sam & Team for a gala I was leading. I've been in the events business for 20 years and working with them was one of the most seamless, flawless experiences I've had to date. The service onsite was exceptional as was their expertise and willingness to go above and beyond. 5+ Stars!"

FAQ
Boston event production FAQs
Do you have a team in Boston?
Our core team is based in New York City, about four hours away, and we drive up with our own gear. For larger shows we add vetted local crew, so you get local hands and the same dedicated team behind your event.
Can you work at the BCEC and the Hynes?
Yes. We plan around each venue's labor rules, exclusive services, and move-in schedule, and we coordinate with the general contractor so your setup runs on time.
Can you work in Boston hotels that have in-house AV?
Yes. Many hotels have an in-house AV partner. We can work alongside them or bring in our own production where the hotel allows it, and we'll explain any fees up front.
How far ahead should we book a Boston event?
Two to three months is ideal, and more for big spring or fall conferences. We can move faster when you need us to.
Do you cover the rest of New England?
Yes. We also work in Cambridge, the Boston suburbs, and down to Stamford, Connecticut. If your event is anywhere in New England, just ask.
